A team of senior officials from the Department of Education & Skills visited Scoil Chlochair Mhuire in May 2019 to make notes for the plans for our new building project. Our site was surveyed and presently a team is working on drawings for our new build. The. completed work will provide us with a school building to include:
16 mainstream classrooms
General Purposes’ room
Library
Special Education Teacher rooms
3 special classrooms and ancillary rooms (movement area/resource room)
Redesign of office spaces & meeting areas
Storage
Provision of all other rooms/areas consistent with a new school building project.
This work will allow for the removal of all temporary classrooms and will retain the renovated original building. We are looking forward to this new exciting venture for Scoil Chlochair Mhuire.
